WHAT IS ABDOMINAL-PELVIC PHYSICAL THERAPY? Abdominal-pelvic physical therapy is a specialized branch of physical therapy focused on assessing, diagnosing, and treating conditions related to the muscles, connective tissues, and structures of the pelvic and abdominal region. It aims to improve pelvic function, relieve pain, and address issues such as urinary or bowel incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, sexual dysfunction, and postpartum recovery.
